Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA.

Notice of Infringement – Claim

1. A signature from the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
2. Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
3. Details of the infringing material and information to help locate it;
4. Contact information of the complaining party;
5. A statement confirming unauthorized use of the material;
6. A statement verifying the accuracy of the notification and the authority of the complaining party.

Section 17 USC §512(f) imposes penalties on those who knowingly misrepresent information in a copyright infringement claim. Takedown notices can be sent via email for a quicker response.

It’s important to note that we may share the details of any copyright infringement claim with the alleged infringer for resolution.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a takedown notice due to copyright infringement, you can submit a counter notification to have the material restored. The notification must be in writing and include:

1. Your signature;
2. Description of the removed material and its original location;
3. A statement under penalty of perjury explaining your belief that the removal was a mistake;
4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.

Counter notices can also be sent via email for convenience.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We have a strict policy regarding copyright infringement and identify repeat offenders. Accounts of repeat infringers will be terminated as per DMCA guidelines.
